The Mason Dixon French Bulldog Club is centered on the Mason Dixon Line in the upper mid-Atlantic region of the USA. The club is comprised of pet owners, fanciers, breeders and exhibitors in AKC events, such as conformation shows and obedience trials. Members hail from Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey and Pennsylvania and regularly meet in Wilmington, DE .
The club was founded as a result of local interest, hard work and dedication, with the first official meeting held 08 November 2001.
The club sponsors events such as fun and AKC sanctioned matches and public education events in the local community. Members are currently working toward AKC accreditation.
The objectives of the club (as listed in the by-laws) are to:
encourage and promote quality in the breeding of purebred French Bulldogs and to do all that is possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection.

urge members and breeders to accept the Standard of the breed as approved by the American Kennel Club and all subsequent amendments thereto as the only Standard of excellence by which the French Bulldog shall be judged.
do all in its power to protect and advance the interests of the breed by encouraging sportsmanlike competition at dog shows, obedience trials and all AKC events for which the club is eligible.
conduct sanctioned and licensed specialty shows, obedience trials and all AKC events for which the club is eligible under the rules and regulations of the American Kennel Club.
